Bianca Dorsey is a graduate of Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Dorsey went on to earn a Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Masters of Social work from Southern University at New Orleans. Bianca has worked in Social Services for more than 15 years with various agencies including Odyssey House, Orleans Parish Criminal Court, and Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana. It was with Volunteers of America Residential Re-Entry Center that Bianca discovered her passion for helping individuals re-enter society following incarceration.
Bianca served as Social Service Coordinator with Volunteers of America’s Residential Re-Entry Center for the last five years. In this role, she helped ex-offenders navigate the challenges of transitioning back to society. In addition, Bianca maintains her passion for Cosmetology and is currently licensed in state of Louisiana.
Bianca, a native of New Orleans and alumnus of John F. Kennedy Senior High School, is a wife and mother of three boys ranging from high school age to kindergarten.
