USA Today: Re-entry Program Helps Inmate Fight Anger Issues

Joiner and Rivers' poignant USA Today piece focuses on Harold Sylvester, who, while not one of our clients, tells a story about entrapment in cycles of drug dealing and addiction, violence and broken communities, that most of them could relate to. The attached video features our co-director, Ben Smith, our co-founder, Blair Boutte, and it also summarizes much of the work done at The First 72+. In addition, the attached Soundcloud interview provides a snapshot into the lives of one of our peer mentors, Daniel Tapia, and a client of ours, Troy Delome.
